More Than Cheer- Loudoun is owned by Brittany Rose and Sema Konur.
Brittany’s passion for youth enrichment stems from her extensive background in cheerleading and dance.
In 2007, as a sophomore in college, Brittany began reaching out to youth with her start-up company, More Than Cheer. The company now provides youth enrichment throughout Virginia and Maryland, serving hundreds of children each year.
Brittany has an obvious passion for youth and helping them develop as people and as athletes. You can be assured that your child will love his/her experience with More Than Cheer, because she makes it her number one priority.
Not only does Brittany have extensive athletic experience, her leadership skills are unmatched! Brittany has devoted her free time to inspiring young men and women. She is the current United States Ambassador for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards and participates in tours around the country for young adults like her. The tours are designed to encourage the young adults to become better leaders, entrepreneurs, and overall more well-rounded. She encourages her staff to bring this same energy and attitude to all of her programs, so that not only will your child benefit physically, but also will receive mental stimulation. The larger goal is for each of them to come home with life-long lessons that will shape them for the future!
Sema is a native of Leesburg, VA. She has a B.A in Dance, concentration in traditional and contemporary jazz techniques, from Point Park University where she graduated in 2010 and also where her professional career began. Prior to college Ms. Konur was a Varsity cheerleader for four years, as well as a completive cheerleader, where she won many awards and titles through dance and cheerleading. Currently Ms. Konur is the Head JV coach for fall cheerleading coach at Heritage High School and the former Director of Dance at The Studio-mInd.body.soul. Ms. Konur is excited to be a part of the More Than Cheer family as a co-owner, instructor and Director of the More Than Cheer Performance Team.
